Feel-good outdoor dining: attractively designed and shaded

More flexibility with multicube gabions from Caravita

There can never be enough uncomplicated seating options in outdoor gastronomy. The outdoor living trend is continuing and any additional space is gladly used by guests. Especially when it’s as appealing as Caravita’s multicube gabions, which create a relaxed atmosphere when used as parasol bases and seating.

The multicubes were specially designed for the food service industry. They serve as sturdy, flexible bases for giant parasols like the Big Ben, which provides plenty of shade with a span of up to seven metres. The sturdy steel baskets with freely selectable fillings and a comfortable wood covering are a practical alternative to conventional parasol bases with flagstones which can easily become a tripping hazard for guests and service personnel in everyday service. The multicubes, used as bar tables or seating, invite you to linger in a relaxed atmosphere. They offer unusual shady spots in a particularly cosy and informal atmosphere and are therefore highly sought-after by guests.

With various sizes and uses, the multicubes from Caravita facilitate the flexible configuration of outdoor areas, which can be adapted to current requirements at any time. Thanks to a clever lifting device for pallet trucks, restaurateurs can easily change their location and therefore the locations of their parasols without expert help, unlike with installed ground sleeves. This means that patios can be transformed easily for events or private functions, for example, and can be returned to their original positions the next day.

Individually adjusted to the food service concept

There are hardly any visual food service concepts that don’t suit multicubes. The basket filling is tailored to the special requirements and the desired look: natural stones are just as much of an option as rustic logs or fine wine bottles. Different variants are also available for the wood coverings and even for the basket coating in various RAL colours. Further adjustments allow the Freestyle Multicubes to be used as barstools with foot rails, benches with backrests, bar tables or corner solutions.

And last but not least, the multicubes can also be equipped with technology, therefore creating additional usage possibilities. Additional features such as LED lights, Bluetooth speakers, WLAN hotspots and power sockets as charging stations make the gabions an indispensable addition for the outdoor food service industry. They are vital for creating comfort and ambience outside and for the well-being of guests.

Multicubes at “The Italian”, Recklinghausen

The outdoor dining area of the Austrian franchise, The Italian, in Recklinghausen also relies on the distinct look of the multicubes and the high-grade Big Ben parasols. Surrounded by attractive timbered houses, eight parasols measuring five by five meters each, provide shade for around 200 square meters of seating space in the marketplace. The naturally coloured acrylic fabric with branded valances elegantly fit into the colour scheme of the system gastronomy. They fit in perfectly with the picturesque surroundings at the same time. The parasol bases with four baskets for sitting and matching outdoor furniture in the form of benches are filled with light quarrystone in a matching colour and are very well-received by guests. One of the most important arguments in favour of the multicubes was the special mechanism with which the stackable gabions, compatible with pallet trucks, can be easily transported. This means that the marketplace can be cleared in a short period of time for town events.

The multicubes can be easily retrofitted to Caravita parasols. They are customised as needed in terms of both size and volume in order to meet individual requirements.
